The state wide "Secular" March organized by DYFI Kerala State Committee concluded today (5th December 2015) at Ernakulam followed by a big Youth Rally. Concluding meeting was inaugurated by CPIM Polit Buereu Member Com. Pinarai Vijayan. DYFI All India President Com. M.B Rajesh MP were also present in the concluding ceremony. The DYFI would safeguard the progressive and secular mindset of the State and resist any effort to turn the State into an “asylum of fundamentalists”. DYFI was also opposed to communal frenzy orchestrated both by the majority and minority communities.

 

 

DYFI Kerala organized the march as two parallel Secular marches in the State.  The march was divided into two zones as northern zone and southern zone. Northern zone march was inaugurated by Com. V S Achyuthanandan on the red soil of Kayyoor by handed over the white flag to DYFI Kerala State Secretary Com. M Swaraj on Tuesday 17th November 2015. The Southern zone march inaugurated by CPIM State Secretary Com. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan  on 19th November 2015 at Aruvippuram, Thiruvananthapuram. The southern zone march led by DYFI State President Com. T.V. Rajesh  MLA.

The secular march was organized by DYFI Kerala State Committee as a warning to the communal forces which are trying to eliminate the secular and religious culture of India and to spread message for saving India from the communal forces which are trying to create tensions in the society by bringing back the religion - caste - colour discrimination and inequalities.
