Protest in the widespread attack on DYFI activists by TMC in WB

The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India strongly protest in the widespread attack on DYFI leaders and activists by TMC goons in West Bengal. In a latest incident Com. Sayandeep Mitra President of West Bengal state unit of DYFI was brutally attacked. He was seriously injured and hospitalised with multiple wounds.

It was only three days before, Com. Tapas Sinha former General Secretary and a Left Front candidate was attacked seriously. These sorts of attacks have been carried out for many years by the TMC goons on Youth and left leaders and activists. Once the elections are declared the attacks are intensified.

Large scale booth capturing, rigging and violence were carried out in a systematic manner to distort democracy in all the phases of elections in West Bengal. The CEC of DYFI demands immediate arrests of the culprits in all these incidents and re poll should be done in the booths malpractices are reported.
