Campaigns

DYFI Central Executive Committee has given a call to conduct a campaign against communalism.

DYFI Central Executive Committee has given a call to conduct a campaign against communalism. The secular credentials of our country itself is under question. Rigorous simultaneous attacks on minorities and working people is going with much fervour under the leadership of RSS and Sangh Pariwar.

But as Aijaz Ahmad says, "All forms of struggle against communalism are of course necessary but there must be no illusion about how long and ardous the struggle is going to be. If communalism is not just an ideological, superstructural, epiphenomenal force and if the totality of the communal forces are structurally rooted in this predatory capitalism, then it necessaryily follows that the struggle against communalism is not only a matter of an ideological struggle on behalf of secularism but part of a struggle against capitalism itself."

DYFI is organising "Blood Donation Camp"s across India on the martyrdom day of our Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. We raise our protest against the attempt of the hindutva forces to make Nathuram Godse a National figure and a patriot. Join the struggle. Let us capture our nation back.

Many communities in the disease zones have inadequate sanitation that allow frequent trash piles and open sewers to serve as mosquito breeding and feeding grounds, according to the final outcome statement from the Aedes aegypti summit last month.
